Hooks and eyes

performance with needle, thread, hooks and eyes, and indigo-dyed skirt

Small eyes sewn onto the sleeves of a series of approaching viewers/collaborators, latched onto the hooks of the skirt’s hem. Together we spread and lift. I leave to be free of the skirt, them left with forever reminders on their cuffs of the freedom they’ve given.
